  1. First Download the Media Creation tool open it.
  2. Choose the Upgrade this PC now and click on Next.
  3. The setup will take some time to prepare the necessary files to perform an upgrade, so please Wait.
  4. After the preparation is done, select the Download and install updates. Click Next.
  5. Once the downloading is finished, follow the instructions on the screen.
  6. Once you reached Ready to Install, chose the option Change What to keep.
  7. Now choose the option Keep personal files and apps and click on Next.
  8. Complete the installation procedure by following the instruction being displayed on the screen.

Once the upgrade procedure is done, your PC will have the latest version of Windows and the error 0x80080008 will now be permanently resolved from your Windows.
